About

The Dream Realization School was founded in 2006 by North County Christ the King’s senior pastor Kim Ryan. We are currently running our third class of first year students. Although the program is setup as a stand-alone one year program we offer a second year curriculum for those who wish a more in-depth study.DRS was brought to fruition for the sole purpose of training individuals to better fulfill our Lord’s commission to surround the throne. Paul challenges us well; “….let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles, and let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us.”

It is imperative that we do the hard work of preparing for the race that is set before us. We need to train well so that we can say as Paul did, “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day.”

We run for His Glory. We desire to cross the finish line of life with nothing left in us. To run in such a manner that we have given it our all, there is nothing left.

Each fall a new session is offered. We meet once a week for approximately eight months, presently on Tuesday nights from 7:00PM until 9:30PM. In class we spend time in lecture, classroom discussion and small group discussion. During the balance of the week students are expected to complete reading assignments and assigned homework. We bring into the class room a variety of instructors from the NCCTK staff, local missionaries, DRS graduates, and by way of multimedia instruction and testimony, Rick Warren, Oz Guiness, RC Sproul, Ken Ham, Ravi Zacharias, John Piper, and others.

Each student is assigned an individual mentor who will be praying for them as well as meeting once a month for discussion and guidance. Mentors are either NCCTK staff or former DRS graduates.

The corner stone of our curriculum begins with the foundation of ‘Who is God’ and the intimate and beautiful relationship He desires. We look at His heart and plan for us as His children pursuing a clearer understanding of ‘Who we are’. We bring to light any habit, event, or misunderstanding that separates us from that intimacy.

I encourage you to contact us or a graduate for any unanswered question you may have. We ask you to earnestly seek the Lords guidance if you are considering being a part of this program.

In Christ,
Kate Ryan & Rob Knapp
